About Makayla

My Health and Wellness Journey

My journey into holistic living began personally before it became professional. Like many women, I once lived on what is commonly called the “Standard American Diet” (It’s acronym is SAD for a reason!) and overlooked the importance of sleep, nourishment, and intentional rhythms. This way of living caused me to deal with chronic fatigue, frequent migraines, recurring infections, histamine reactions, constant digestive issues, muscle tightness, sudden anxiety attacks, constant irritability, and lower overall immune function.

My doctors had me manage these symptoms by putting me on antibiotic courses one after the other, suggesting unnecessary medications, and telling me to just “eat enough fiber and drink more water.”

But what even is fiber? What foods do I get it from? How much should I be having? I had so many questions and hardly any concrete answers, which led me to feel overwhelmed, pretend like my problems didn’t exist, and to continue eating and living the same way.

Eventually, I began learning about how food, environmental exposures, and lifestyle choices impact the body, and how the medical system doesn’t really know about it. I felt convicted to pursue a more ancestral, whole-food approach rooted in stewarding the body God created for me.

My passion for fertility and preconception wellness developed while I began preparing for my own future motherhood. During that season, I realized how many common misconceptions surround fertility, hormone balance, and pregnancy preparation. What began as personal research soon became a calling to educate and empower other women to approach pregnancy proactively rather than reactively.

Beyond Coaching

Above all, I am a Christ follower, a devoted wife, and a boy mom.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exploring new coffee shops, listening to music, trying new recipes, traveling, and spending time outdoors with my husband, son, and pup. I love the quietness of early mornings, meaningful & thought-provoking conversations, and a lifestyle that reflects intentional, feminine living.

My Philosophy

It took me a long time to realize I was made perfectly in the eyes of my Creator, and I want every woman to feel the same. My mission is to empower women to prepare their bodies for motherhood with confidence and clarity. Through a holistic approach to nutrition, daily rhythms, and intentional lifestyle choices, I guide women in supporting hormone balance, strengthening their foundation for conception, and honoring the design of their bodies.
